What data we collect

  • Through the contact form: name, email, company, phone, the area you need help with and your message. Only the name, email and message are required.
  • When you contact us by phone, email or WhatsApp: the data you share in that conversation.
  • When you visit the website: technical logs kept by the hosting provider (IP address, date and time, page requested and browser), needed for the website to work and stay secure.
  • Analytics and marketing cookies: only if you accept them (see Cookies).

What we use it for, and on what basis

  • To reply to your request and, if you ask, carry out the diagnosis and prepare a proposal. Basis: steps taken at your request before entering into a contract (Article 6(1)(b) of the GDPR).
  • If you become a client, to provide the service and meet legal obligations such as invoicing. Basis: performance of the contract and legal obligation (points (b) and (c)).
  • To keep the website running and protected against abuse. Basis: our legitimate interest (point (f)).
  • To measure visits and campaign results. Basis: your consent (point (a)), which you can withdraw at any time.

We do not make automated decisions about you and we do not sell your data.

How long we keep it

  • Contact requests that do not lead to a business relationship: up to 24 months after the last contact.
  • Client data: for the duration of the relationship and, afterwards, for the periods required by law (10 years for invoicing records).
  • Technical logs of the website: for the period set by the hosting provider for security purposes.
  • Cookies: for the periods stated in the Cookie policy.

Who we share it with

Only with providers that process the data on our behalf, under contracts that oblige them to protect it:

  • Hostinger International, which hosts the website and the form.
  • Google (Google Workspace), where we receive and store the request emails.

We may also have to disclose it to the authorities when the law requires it.

Transfers outside the European Union

Some of these providers, such as Google, may process data in the United States. These transfers are covered by the European Commission's adequacy decision on the EU-US Data Privacy Framework and, where applicable, by standard contractual clauses approved by the Commission.

Cookies

The website does not currently use cookies. The details are in the Cookie policy.

Your rights

You can ask to access your data, correct it, have it erased, restrict or object to its processing and receive it in a portable format. Where processing is based on consent, you can withdraw it at any time, without affecting what was done before.

To do so, write to marketing@visaovalor.eu. We reply within one month. If you believe your rights have not been respected, you can lodge a complaint with the Portuguese Data Protection Authority, the Comissão Nacional de Proteção de Dados (cnpd.pt).
