Accessibility statement.

This statement sets out how accessible the VisãoValor website is, what is still missing and how you can tell us about a barrier. Last updated: 21 October 2026.

This is a translation. In case of any discrepancy, the Portuguese version prevails.

Our commitment

We want visaovalor.eu to work for everyone: with a screen reader, with a keyboard only, with enlarged text or with reduced motion. This statement covers the website in all six languages.

Standard

We follow the W3C Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2, level AA. They include WCAG 2.1 AA, adopted by the European standard EN 301 549.

Conformance status

The website is partially conformant with WCAG 2.2 AA. Automated checks find no failures and we have fixed those found in manual testing, but we have not yet tested the website with screen reader users. Until then, we do not claim full conformance.

Known limitations

  • Decorative animations: the 3D mark, the background, the map and the text entrances move with scrolling and with the cursor. They carry no information and stop with “Pause animations” or with your system’s reduced motion setting.
  • Testimonials: they change on their own every 8 seconds. They pause while the pointer or focus is on them and stop changing with “Pause animations”.
  • Third-party content: social networks, WhatsApp and the Complaints Book (Livro de Reclamações) open websites that are not ours.

Accessibility preferences

On every page, the round button in the bottom left corner opens a panel where you can pause animations, enlarge the text, add space between lines and letters, switch to a reading font, raise the contrast and underline links. Your choice is saved in this browser until you reset it.

The website also follows your system settings: reduced motion, font size and browser zoom up to 400%.

How we assessed it

Self-assessment by VisãoValor on 21 October 2026:

  • automated checks with axe-core 4.13 on every page, in all six languages, on desktop and mobile;
  • keyboard-only navigation: menu, submenus, language selector, form, FAQ and testimonials;
  • text enlarged to 200%, WCAG text spacing and a width of 320 pixels;
  • colour contrast measured and the browser accessibility tree reviewed.
