Create a website: terms of service.

These terms govern the Create a website service: creating, publishing and maintaining your business's page and link card. To pay, you must accept them. Last updated: 23 October 2026.

This is a translation. In case of any discrepancy, the Portuguese version prevails.

The service

The Create a website service is provided by Springbelievers, Lda, Portuguese tax number (NIPC) 513011897, registered office at Rua Júlio Dinis, n.º 18, São Pedro, 2005-479 Santarém, Portugal, which operates under the VisãoValor® brand. Contact: marketing@visaovalor.eu or +351 917 849 716 (call to a Portuguese mobile number).

At visaovalor.eu/criar, you create a page for your business and, once you pay, you get:

  • the website, on a single page, at your-business.bweb.siteor, on the plan with your own domain, on a .pt or .com domain in your business's name;
  • the link card at your-business.cvisita.site, with a QR code and your contact details, ready to save to a phone;
  • hosting for both, the security certificate (HTTPS) and technical maintenance;
  • text suggested by artificial intelligence based on what you tell us, which you review before publishing.

Not included: email accounts on the domain, an online shop, bookings, multiple pages, advertising or social media management. These services are hired separately.

The editor and the pages it builds are in Portuguese.

Who it is for

The service is intended for businesses and professionals with a registered office or residence in Portugal and requires a Portuguese tax number (NIF). If you sign up as a consumer, that is, outside your professional activity, you also have the rights set out in the section “Right of withdrawal”.

How the contract is made

  • Creating and previewing the page is free and does not commit you to anything.
  • In the last step, you choose the plan, enter your billing details and see the total price, including VAT. Until you pay, you can correct any of the details.
  • To pay, you accept these terms and ask for the service to start straight after payment. Payment is made through Stripe, by card, MB WAY, Multibanco reference or Revolut Pay. We do not see or store your card details.
  • The contract is concluded when payment is confirmed. At that point we publish the page and send you an email with the addresses and a summary of what you paid. The invoice-receipt follows in a separate email.
  • The contract is concluded in Portuguese. These terms are always available on this page; we keep the version you accepted with the record of your payment and send you a copy if you ask for it.

Price and payment

  • With our address: €59.99 + VAT per year.
  • With your own domain: €99.99 + VAT per year, with domain registration and renewal included.

VAT is charged at the rate of the region where your business has its registered office, based on the postcode: 23% in mainland Portugal, 22% in Madeira and 16% in the Azores. The total price, including VAT, is shown before you pay. There are no monthly fees or other costs.

The invoice-receipt is issued to the company name and tax number (NIF) you give us.

Duration and renewal

  • The service lasts one year from publication.
  • Renewal is not automatic. We email you 30 days and 7 days before the end, with a link to renew, and renewal is at the same price. If the price changes, the new price only applies to later renewals and we state it in the renewal notice.
  • The new year runs from the end of the previous one: renewing early does not cost you any days.

If you do not renew

  • The page and the card stay online for 7 days after the end of the paid year. They are then suspended: they are no longer visible and we let you know by email.
  • You can reactivate them whenever you like, using the link in the notice, by paying for the renewal. They come back exactly as they were.
  • Twelve months after suspension, we delete the page, the card and the images. Billing data is kept for the period required by law.

Your own domain

  • On the plan with your own domain, we register the .pt or .com domain you choose, if it is available, with your business as the domain holder, within 3 business days after payment. For the registration we use the details you give us, including a contact person and a phone number.
  • Until the domain is active, the page stays at our address. After that, the old address leads to the domain, so the links you have already shared keep working.
  • If the domain you chose is no longer available when we come to register it, we will contact you to choose another one or to switch to the plan with our address, with a refund of the difference.
  • Domain registration and renewal are included for as long as you renew the service. If you do not renew, we stop renewing the domain and it may expire. The domain is yours: while it is active, we give you the code to transfer it to another provider at no cost.
  • If you already have a domain, we connect it to your page at no cost, on the plan with our address. In that case, registering and renewing the domain remain your responsibility.

The content of the page

  • You are responsible for the content you give us and approve: text, prices, opening hours, contact details, images and legal details. You guarantee that it is true, that you have the right to use it, including photographs and logos, and that it complies with the law, in particular the rules on advertising and consumer protection.
  • The text proposed by artificial intelligence is a suggestion: you read and approve it before publishing. We do not add figures, awards or customer reviews that you have not given us.
  • The page footer shows your business's identification, address and email and the link to the Portuguese electronic Complaints Book (Livro de Reclamações Eletrónico), which the law requires, plus a privacy policy for the page filled in with your details. Let us know if these details change.
  • Content that is illegal, misleading or offensive, that incites hatred or violence, that infringes the rights of others, that is sexually explicit or that is used for scams is not allowed. We check the text and images before publishing and may refuse publication or suspend the page if we find such content, and we will let you know.
  • The content remains yours. You authorise us to host, reproduce and display it solely to provide the service.

Reports and point of contact

Anyone can report illegal content on a page or a link card through the “Denunciar conteúdo” (report content) link in the footer of each one. We confirm receipt, assess the report diligently and tell the person who made it what we decided. If the decision affects your page, for example by suspending it or removing content, we explain the reasons, and you can contest it by replying to our email, without prejudice to your right to go to court.

Texts and images are checked by automated means before publication. If the check prevents publication, we tell you why, and you can ask a member of our team to review the decision.

Point of contact for authorities and for users of the service (Digital Services Act, Articles 11 and 12): marketing@visaovalor.eu, in Portuguese or English.

Changes after publishing

Once published, the page is locked for changes in the editor. To change anything, write to us: we make the change and publish the page again. If the change has a cost, we tell you the price before making it.

The VisãoValor signature

The page and the card show “Powered by” in the footer, with the VisãoValor® logo and a link to our website. This is part of the service and cannot be removed.

Availability and liability

  • We do our best to keep the page and the card available at all times, but there may be interruptions for maintenance or because of failures on the part of third parties, such as the hosting provider or the network.
  • We do not guarantee results, such as visits, search engine rankings or sales.
  • Within the limits of the law, our liability for the service is limited to the amount paid in the last 12 months. This limitation does not apply in cases of wilful misconduct or gross negligence and does not affect the rights that the law gives consumers.

Conformity of the service

The page and the card must work as these terms describe for the whole period you paid for. If anything does not work, let us know: we fix it free of charge and within a reasonable time.

If you sign up as a consumer, you also have the rights under the legal guarantee of conformity for digital services (Portuguese Decree-Law no. 84/2021). If the fault cannot be fixed, if we do not fix it within a reasonable time or if it is serious enough to justify this, you can ask for a proportionate reduction in price or, if the fault is not minor, terminate the contract. If you terminate it, we refund the part of the price for the time during which the service was not in conformity and for the rest of the paid period.

Right of withdrawal

If you sign up as a consumer, you can withdraw from the contract within 14 days of payment, without giving any reason. This right does not apply to those who sign up for professional purposes.

As the service starts straight after payment, at your request, if you withdraw within that period we refund the amount paid, minus the part of the service already provided, in proportion to the days the page was published. On the plan with your own domain, if the domain has already been registered, the cost of the registration is also deducted, and the domain remains yours.

To withdraw, send us an unequivocal statement, for example by email to marketing@visaovalor.eu, or use the model form below. We refund the amount within 14 days, using the same means of payment you used.

Model withdrawal form

(complete and return this form only if you wish to withdraw from the contract)

Paid on […].
Name of consumer: […]
Address of consumer: […]
Signature of consumer (only if this form is notified on paper): […]
Date: […]

End of the contract

  • You can end the service whenever you like by not renewing it. Outside the right of withdrawal, there is no refund for the period already paid.
  • We may terminate the contract in the event of a serious breach of these terms, such as illegal content or fraudulent use, after warning you and giving you a reasonable period to put it right, except where the law requires us to act immediately.

Personal data

We handle your data as described in the Privacy policy.

If the page contains personal data of other people, such as names and photographs of staff or customer reviews, your business is the controller of that data and we process it on your behalf, as a processor (Article 28 of the GDPR). It is up to you to have a lawful basis for publishing it, such as the consent of those people. In that role:

  • we process that data only to host and display the page and the card, for as long as the service lasts, and on your instructions: these terms and whatever you ask of us in writing;
  • anyone on our team who has access to it is bound by confidentiality, and we protect it with appropriate technical and organisational measures;
  • you authorise us to engage the providers listed in the Privacy policy as sub-processors, under the same obligations. If we add or replace any of them, we notify you by email in advance, and you may object;
  • we assist you in responding to requests from those people about their data and, if there is a personal data breach affecting it, we notify you without undue delay;
  • when the service ends, we delete it within the period set out in the section “If you do not renew”, or return it to you before then, if you ask us to;
  • we give you the information necessary to demonstrate that we comply with these obligations.

Complaints and disputes

You can file a complaint in the Portuguese electronic Complaints Book (Livro de Reclamações Eletrónico) or write to us directly.

If you are a consumer, you can also turn to an alternative consumer dispute resolution body, such as the Portuguese National Centre for Consumer Arbitration (cniacc.pt). The full list is on the Portuguese Consumer Portal (consumidor.gov.pt).

These terms are governed by Portuguese law. Disputes are settled by the competent Portuguese courts, without prejudice to the rules that protect consumers.

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms. The version you accepted applies to the period you paid for; a new version only applies from the next renewal, and we point it out in the renewal notice. Communications about the service are sent to the billing email address you gave us.
